The Glimmer Gauntlet - Archazia’s Island Sealed Event

        Welcome Illumineers to a new experience, this event is going to be a team battle! I’ll explain the rules further below, but you will sign up as a Team in pairs of Two. Both players will draft a Sealed deck out of the new set Archazia’s Island! This is a whole new type of format, but shouldn’t be much different then your regular game of Lorcana!

What You’ll Get: 5 Packs of Disney Lorcana Azurite Sea & Ink Booster Pack.
Prize is determined on attendance as it is a prize pool.
        
When: March, 14th, 2025 - 6:00 PM
What You’ll Need: What you will need on your Quest, these are completely optional, but can improve your game experience:

- Sleeves for your Deck
- Play mat
- Tokens/Counters/Dice
- Water, hydration’s important!

Sealed Rules:

1. Draft a Sealed 40 Card deck out of your 5 Packs of Archazia’s Island (You may not share copies of your cards with your Teammate)

2. You will have an additional Ink Booster Pack given with the 5 Packs of Archazia’s Island (3 Commons, 3 Uncommons, 1 Rares, and 1 Super Rare) you can use these cards to assist in modifying your deck

3. No restriction on Ink Colour for your deck

4. You may use any number of a copy of a card in your Deck, if you pull 5 Copies of Wendy Darling - Pirate Queen you can use all 5 of them

Dual - Ink Duel Rules:

Standard Lorcana rules, but some minor variations will be explained.

1. Teams shares both their Turn and Play Zone (You will Ready, Set, Draw at the same time as your Teammate)

2. Your Inkwell and Banished Pile are separated, you do NOT share an Inkwell or Banished Pile with your Teammate

3. Lore goal is 30 Lore instead of the regular 20 Lore

4. You may use any Action, Song, Item on your Play Zone like normal as it is a shared area

5. Teams will be given an Ink colour alongside their Packs. This Ink is the one you are defending and trying to become the champion (24 Player limit, so there will be a limit of 2 of each Ink)

Story lore:

 Wow what a wicked adventure that was, who would have guessed that Captain Jack Sparrow himself was the one who helped us through the Azurite Sea! I’m quite surprised he was able to make time for us since he usually has a very busy schedule. Nevertheless, we should continue onwards with our venture into this unknown land. After we found the treasure inside the Swirl Cove we were trapped, unable to find a way out…..I was scared for a second there, but you managed to see a bit of light coming out of a crevice in the rocks! With a little luck we managed to get ourselves out of there.

        On the shore outside of the cave we made our way back to our sturdy raft and started to wander the waters, but luck only has so much in store for us. A vicious storm struck our seas shortly, tossing us back and forth across the Azurite Sea. We finally managed to find ourselves washed up on a mysterious Island. I wonder who inhabits these lands!

        While exploring the Island you noticed a strange combination of colours seem to be splashed across all the stones and trees as we found a nearby Village. Illumineers I think we are in for quite the challenge here, as we enter the Village a tournament is going on. We have never seen anything like this, they are battling as teams, and it seems like they are trying to find out which Ink will be their champion! What do you think, want to join in on the fun ?
