It came! It finally came! The big one……Pixar is finally here in the Lorcana realm. Welcome to the Wilds Unknown prerelease, illumineers you are in for a wild ride. Wilds Unknown is opening the doors for us to see many amazing Pixar characters added to the pool of Lorcana cards throughout the course of the year. This is going to be the first prerelease with prerelease kits, it will be very similar to previous prereleases with some minor changes. Let’s go over those together, you will be getting 6 packs of the new set Wilds Unknown to build yourself a 40 card minimum deck with no colour restrictions, it will also contain 4 6 sided dice themed towards the prerelease kit and a promo card (1 of six variants) which you can add to your deck. Once illumineers have all finished constructing their deck they will play 3 best of one swiss rounds.

Chapter 12:

The crowd dissipates after a glorious evening of games being fought, as the last few crowd members leave Elsa and Anna come over to thank you for all your hard work and dedication to entertaining the citizens of Arendelle. They request that we spend the night and rest up until morning at the Arendelle Castle. This would be a great opportunity for us to explore the beautiful region of Arendelle, let’s meet up at dawn and go for a lovely walk. The gentle chilled air of Arendelle is just simply wondrous.

The group comes down to the dining hall after a blissful sleep, and are greeted by Elsa “It has been a delightful visit to have you here in Arendelle, glad you dropped in. I wish I had time to show you around town we have a bazaar brimming with extravagant vendors. I hope to see you again on your journey, but for now I must take my leave as we are very busy these days here in Arendelle. Good luck on your adventure, if I would recommend though, a stroll through the woods near the castle may open new doors.”

Breakfast sure was yummy, let’s see what the woods nearby contains, it does look quite mysterious. Maybe we can brainstorm some ideas together to figure what our next step on our adventure will be. The trail entering deep into the woods is pristine, you can see the gardeners of Arendelle have kept the exterior of the forest well kept. Before we know it though the well kept forest turns into a twisted maze of grown in greenery, I think we might be lost…….let’s keep pushing forward, maybe we can find our way back.

Gnarled twisted vines wrap the trees, the sun seems to be blotted out by the dense vines intertwining across the branches in the canopy above. You know when Elsa said take a stroll in the woods, I didn’t think it would be like this. What is that over there though, it looks like the vines are originating over that hill, I wonder where they are coming from. Carefully maneuvering through the vast layers of vines you make it out to a clearing with a humble hut nearby, but it is not in the best shape as the vines have pierced through the walls and are raging out of control. We better go see if there is anyone inside, I hope they are okay!

As you turn the handle of the door, a green sheen glistens across the edges, snapping open and pulls you in. Flashes of characters in red suits with a yellow “i” on an outfit whiz by, a young blue elf wielding a staff, even a green one-eyed monster who are these people? As fast as they flash by, suddenly, kersplat, we fall into an open field surrounded by more of the vines we just saw. In a bit of a daze, you can see there is an individual fighting off the vines, shooting at them with their bow. Merida “Dinnae just stand there like a daftie—shift yer backside an’ gie me a hand, will ye?” Well we better give her a hand!

1.3.2 Limited Tournament Formats

“Limited” describes any event where players are provided with unopened Disney Lorcana TCG product and are expected to build their decks on-site during the tournament. There are four Limited formats: Sealed, Preconstructed, Pack Rush, and Draft.
 

• Limited decks in Sealed and Draft must contain at least 40 cards. There is no maximum deck size, except that decks are limited in size by the card pool they’re built from. 

• Limited decks aren’t restricted in how many ink types they may contain. 

• Limited decks may contain any number of copies of any individual card. For   example, if a player in a Sealed tournament opens six copies of Genie – The Ever Impressive, they may play all six in their deck.

1.3.2.2 Sealed

• In a Sealed tournament, each player is provided with a set of unopened booster packs from which they will build their deck. The minimum number of booster packs to be provided for Sealed tournaments is six per player, from the set(s) of the Tournament Organizer’s choice. Each player begins with the same number of booster packs from each set selected.  

• Sealed tournaments may be used at any tournament level.
